内容記述 This study developed a mathematics training program based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge
(PCK), consisting of the process of improvement, utilization, and reflection on “basic knowledge & skills for
math lessons (BKS)” and lesson observation. The purpose is to clarify the effect of teachers’ “self-evaluation
of practice in math lessons (SEL)” and students’ “self-evaluation of mathematical competency (SEC).” To
verify the effectiveness, teachers completed a reflection sheet and a questionnaire on “SEL.” Students also
answered the questionnaire on “SEC” to identify the relationship between teachers’ and students’
transformation. The results revealed two key findings: (1) Our program is effective in improving teachers’
“BKS” and “SEL.” (2) Improvement of teachers’ “SEL” through our programs improves students’ “SEC” after
a period of teachers’ internalization of their learning through the training. While previous research focused
on either teachers’ or students’ transformation, this study uniquely identified the relationship among (1) a
PCK-based mathematics training program, (2) teachers’ “SEL,” and (3) students’ “SEC,” through continuous
investigation over eight months. The effectiveness of training programs including lesson observation may
offer implications for future school-based training.
